Manchester United’s next top target seems to be edging closer to a move as it is reported he will miss his club’s next game.
With every priority this summer now ticked off, it seems that luxury signings have been moved onto.
Top of this list, a midfielder who can help United control games and most importantly potentially fill in for Casemiro upon his inevitable suspension.
Despite negotiations or talks not advanced or even at a formal level yet, it has now been suggested the player won’t be part of the next Fiorentina squad.
Reputable reports have also suggested the Atlas lions’ star is desperate for the move.
Amrabat left out of squad
Fabrizio Romano has been hugely vocal on the Amrabat to United transfer link and has given what could be a huge update.
Tweeting, Romano said: “Sofyan Amrabat, not called up for next Fiorentina game.”
MORE UNITED STORIES
He then confirmed that formal talks between the two sides are expected soon, with United close to offloading both Fred and Donny van de Beek.
Romano also emphasised the fact that Amrabat only wants United which hasn’t changed.
Again United are in a position where the player is desperate not only for a move, but for a move to Old Trafford.
With a price point already known, negotiations should be quite swift on this deal.
Deal edges closer
A report earlier today by Mail Online stated that United ‘are close to finalising £30million move’ for Amrabat.
This following what they refer to as “secret contact” which United and Fiorentina have been in recently.
All arrows seem to be pointing toward this deal being completed and we expect some acceleration next week on this front.
He could end up being a brilliant signing for United with the potential ability to usurp Casemiro’s place in the squad as the years go by.
