Manchester United have enquired over the possibility of signing Japan international midfielder Daichi Kamada.
The Mail report United have been in contact with Eintracht Frankfurt over a potential deal.
However, it is unclear if United plan to push ahead with a move, with a transfer for Marcel Sabitzer in the pipeline.
Sabitzer is set to fly to Manchester to seal the move, The Telegraph report.

Who is Daichi Kamada
Daichi Kamada, 26, is a regular for reigning Europa League winners Eintracht Frankfurt.
This season he has an impressive seven Bundesliga goals and five assists from 16 appearances.
He also has a further five goals in cup competitions, including three in six Champions League games, with 12 goals in total.
Kamada has 26 international appearances for Japan, with six goals, playing four times at the 2022 World Cup.
While Frankfurt should be reluctant to let a player of Kamada’s quality go, his contract is set to expire at the end of the current season.
If a deal cannot be done before the transfer deadline, United could potentially revisit signing Kamada on a free transfer in the summer.
Bild reported Frankfurt have not given up hope of convincing Kamada to sign a new deal, with Tottenham showing interest earlier in January.
Sky Sports Dharmesh Sheth also reports United were offered Saul Niguez by Atletico Madrid, turning the chance down, and considered Youri Tielemans to be too expensive.
