Teden Mengi is seemingly on his way to Premier League new boys Luton Town after a deal has been swiftly agreed reports Fabrizio Romano.
It’s about time Mengi found a new home. A career plagued by injuries at United meant that his sale was either often delayed, or couldn’t take place.
He hasn’t played much football whatsoever at Old Trafford, with his last first-team squad appearance coming way back in 2021.
This window finally appears to be the one the youngster is moving on, with a permanent deal to a Premier League club looming.

Teden Mengi to Luton Town imminent
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Mengi will be joining the Hatters on a permanent deal.
No details of the deal have been confirmed as of yet, but it has been revealed that the young centre-half has taken his medical today.
Mengi will provide valuable experience for Luton, even at his young age. With Premier League experience and also appearances in Champions League fixtures – he’ll provide a cool head at the back for the Hatters.
MORE UNITED STORIES
Hopefully, he can remain fit and really start his career in Premier League football strongly.
He’ll link up with ex-United stars
He’ll have some familiar faces waiting for him when he arrives at Kenilworth Road.
Tahith Chong made the switch to Luton earlier this summer. He was the Hatter’s first summer signing after United deemed him surplus to requirements.
He also may be able to form an all-ex-Manchester United back-two pairing. Axel Tuanzebe has been training with the London side for a while, but it’s unknown as to whether he’s yet been offered a deal.
We wish Mengi all the best in his future endeavours!
