The future of David De Gea has been what can only be described as a circus.
After United seemingly agreed on a new contract for the Spaniard, the Red Devils then, seemingly, withdrew that contract and tried to renegotiate. Well, it seems De Gea has made his feelings about the situation abundantly clear.
In a rather cryptic tweet, the Spaniard simply tweets an image of a man juggling. Some have interpreted the tweet that he has described the ongoing contract situation as a circus. Others, rather amusingly, seemingly believe De Gea is weighing up what to do, hence the juggling emoji.
Nevertheless, negotiations are seemingly continuing with Andre Onana and Inter Milan, according to Fabrizio Romano, who claims that United are preparing a second verbal bid. Melissa Reddy, from Sky Sports, has also claimed that talks are ongoing and there is hope that a £40 million upfront offer plus £5 million in add-ons would be enough for Inter Milan to accept.

What does the future hold for David De Gea?
The future still remains unclear for the Spaniard, who has received criticism for his mistakes in high-profile games – not least the FA Cup final against Manchester City, where he seemingly let Ilkay Gundogan’s second-half effort squirm past him.
However, the handling of a player, who has been a great servant to the club, will no doubt leave a bad taste in the mouth of some United fans. Where the future lies for De Gea, remains to be seen. There have been tentative links with Saudia Arabian clubs and there was even talk of Turkish giants Fenerbahce’s interest, but for now, his future remains up in the air.
Despite United manager, Erik Ten Hag’s insistence earlier in the season that he wanted to keep the Spaniard at the club before the expiration of his contract, it now seems that De Gea will be allowed to leave the club, something that the 31-year-old doesn’t seem to be too happy about.
