Manchester United are set to make a transfer move for Bordeaux winger Malcom, according to reports.

Jose Mourinho is keen to add more creativity to his squad with the disappointing form of the team in the absence of Paul Pogba and the French based Malcom has emerged as a surprise target.

The Daily Star say the transfer would be worth around £26m; Malcom has already matched last season’s goal tally in the league, with seven goals (though it’s worth pointing out than former United misfit, Memphis Depay, has scored eight goals himself). It would be a big fee for a player yet to receive an international cap.

We’ll file this one under incredibly dubious for now, but stranger things have happened.
