Manchester United’s quest to add talented young players from around Europe is never ending.

Polish newspaper Sportowefatky reports United had a scout in attendance watching Lech Poznan’s 2-1 win over Legia Warsaw last weekend.

While uncertain which player specifically United were watching, a handful of likely candidates were put forward.

Here is a look at each of the potential recruits…

Kamil Jozwiak

Jozwiak was named in the report as the player known to be attracting the most interest around Europe, among those on display.

He is a 22-year-old left winger, who the report claims could be available for as little as £3 million.

If Jozwiak was subject of United’s interest, then he picked a good game to step up and score the opening goal.

He now has seven goals and four assists this season from 32 appearances for his club.

Jozwiak has one international cap for Poland which he earned earlier this season.

Jakub Kaminski

As the report notes, there was another young winger on display who may have been the reason for United’s presence in Poland.

Kaminski, 18, is a right winger and he was also on the scoresheet, netting the winning goal.

He has scored five goals and provided five assists this season and only just turned 18 in June.

Kaminski only made his top flight debut in Poland last December and it would not be a surprise if his rapid progress has prompted United to check in on him in person.

Michal Karbownik

Unlike Jozwiak and Kaminski, Karbownik was on the losing side for Legia Warsaw in this one.

That should not detract from a really promising season from the young left-back.

Karbownik is just 19-year-old and has seven assists already this season from defence.

He is a Poland youth international who Legia rate highly, signing him to a contract running until 2024.

He plays in a position where United may be looking to upgrade from an attacking perspective, and a scouting mission would make sense.
