Manchester United’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be permitted to leave the club before the end of the season, according to journalist Duncan Castles.

Ibrahimovic has struggled for form since coming back from injury and Castles reports that there has been interest from China and the USA, whose seasons begin in March.

The Swedish forward’s contract expires at the end of the season and it is unlikely the club would keep him on for a third year, while for Ibrahimovic’s ego, a move to a lesser physically dominating league may appeal so that he can go out on a high with impressive form.
