Ralf Rangnick has conducted his last press conference as Manchester United manager ahead of Sunday’s game at Crystal Palace.
Rio Ferdinand said earlier this month he does not think Rangnick should face the press again this season, but the German has given his thoughts on the game.
United need to win to be sure of finishing sixth and not dropping into the UEFA Conference League, which would happen if we come seventh.
Rangnick said that England internationals Luke Shaw and Jadon Sancho could well miss out on the game at Selhurst Park.

“Several players are absent and others are uncertain,” Rangnick said.
“We have to wait for the last training session. Luke Shaw’s wife gave birth to their second baby today. He was supposed to be back for training tomorrow but apparently he isn’t.
“We have to wait and see if he will at least be available for the bench on Sunday. In today’s training, we had two players leaving the training session early.
“They just could not finish the session because they had problems. That was Jadon Sancho and Phil Jones. We need to wait until after the session tomorrow.”

Shaw and Sancho were pictured training this week after it was feared that both men would be absent for the rest of the season.
Sancho has had tonsillitis, but perhaps another issue has cropped up which has prevented him from finishing today’s session.
Shaw is obviously with his wife and child, and it remains to be seen if he comes back in time for the final outing of what has felt like a long season.
