Manchester United are back in Premier League action this Friday, as the league season kicks off with their game at Old Trafford against Leicester City.

Jose Mourinho has been vocal about his frustration in pre-season, which hasn’t been helped by the progress of England, Belgium and France in the World Cup.

“Rashford will be in a better situation than today,” Mourinho told MUTV after yesterday’s friendly at Bayern Munich. “Lindelof the same, Jones the same and let’s see if one of the others is ready to give us a help, 20-25 minutes. Any help that can come from them, is welcome.”

The following players all played some part in yesterday’s game : United: De Gea, Grant, Darmian, Jones, Bailly, Smalling, Lindelof, Tuanzebe, Shaw, Mitchell, Fred, Chong, Pereira, Herrera, Garner, Mata, McTominay, Sanchez, Rashford, Fosu-Mensah.

This gives us an indication of the players we can expect to see on Friday; however, as per Eric Bailly’s Instagram account, it appears Paul Pogba has joined back up with the team, and he may well be one of those players Jose Mourinho was talking about. Certainly with Nemanja Matic out, Pogba’s quality would be a major boost.

This is how we reckon Jose Mourinho is going to line up; with Paul Pogba possibly having a cameo from the bench.
