Manchester United are set to take on Yeovil Town in the FA Cup for the second time in 3 years. We predict the line up.
Sergio Romero has established a reputation as United’s cup goalkeeper so should play.
In defence, Victor Lindelof needs minutes, while it seems Luke Shaw will play after being left out of team at Burnley. Lindelof has played at right back but Matteo Darmian could be given the chance to play there.
In midfield, it will surely be the case that Herrera and McTominay will start. Michael Carrick is still on his way back so might only be expected to play from the bench while Nemanja Matic is in much of a need of rest as Paul Pogba, who has been left at home.
Angel Gomes is a surprise inclusion in the squad but we don’t see him starting. We do however think Alexis Sanchez will start, and possibly from his favoured left hand side, with Marcus Rashford sitting on the bench. It is possible Mourinho could rest Lukaku and play Rashford up top, but the Belgian needs goals and of course scored against Derby in the last round.
