Here is the confirmation that most people were waiting for – Alexis Sanchez in a Manchester United kit on the Old Trafford pitch.
Sanchez appears to have confirmed his move from Arsenal. An announcement regarding the Chile international is expected tomorrow morning.
Sanchez’s transfer has been fairly protracted after the initial talk about the move came as a bolt out of the blue but progression finally came overnight as the forward travelled North and left London.
Other reports suggest that Sanchez will be presented to the press on Tuesday.
As it stands, Henrikh Mkhitaryan is still rumoured to be the makeweight in the deal, though reports also suggest that both United and Arsenal are willing to push through the deals separately in order to make it less complicated.
