Timothy Fosu-Mensah is the fastest player in the Premier League this season.

The Sun report Fosu-Mensah has clocked the top speed of 21.95mph (35.35kph).

This is a rare feat for the Manchester United loanee to be positive about.

The Dutchman has been on loan at Fulham where he has played only 11 times.

He recently sent an apology to Fulham fans after their relegation.

Fosu-Mensah’s feat does not really count for much in the context of a disappointing season.

It does though show his athletic traits and offer hope that a coaching team of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Mike Phelan and co can work wonders with him.

It’s a shame Fosu-Mensah was not recalled in January.

He needs a big pre-season to stand a chance of turning his United career around.

With new signings expected, it will be tough for him to make an impression.

His rapid pace is one way he can catch the eye.
