Manchester United news and transfer roundup: Koulibaly, Barella and more

Manchester United made it eight wins out of eight under caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Friday night by seeing off bitter rivals Arsenal 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium.
That booked United into the fifth round of the FA Cup – the competition which represents the club’s best chance of silverware this season – but a return to Premier League action is just around the corner.
Tomorrow, United look to continue their momentum by making it nine from nine when struggling Burnley come to Old Trafford, but before that, the news cycle around the club continues to turn.
With the transfer deadline approaching, no late activity is expected, but there is enough in today’s roundup to keep Reds interested and we’ve made sure you don’t miss a beat…

Elsewhere, TeamTalk report that United also have their sights set on another Serie A target in the shape of Calgiari midfielder Nicolo Barella, sneaking ahead of Chelsea in the hunt for the Italy international.

And the
