Ruben Dias is one of Manchester United’s transfer options at centre-back this summer.

He is also one of the most affordable. The Sun report the Benfica star has £52 million release clause.

While expensive, it’s far cheaper than Kalidou Koulibaly and Matthijs De Ligt.

Last night Dias’ Portugal got one over on Holland’s De Ligt, winning the UEFA Nations League final.

Real class

Dias is only 22-years-old and has real potential. His performances for Portugal last night and in midweek show he is already reaching it.

The youngster replaced Victor Lindelöf at Benfica and at United he would end up as his partner.

Dias made six clearances, one tackle and one interception in Portugal’s victory, with the all important clean sheet.

Signing him for a very reasonable £52 million fee would improve the United team, while ensuring enough funds remain to strengthen in other areas.
