Ratings & Highlights : Liverpool 0-0 Man Utd
How Manchester United’s players rated after this evening’s 0-0 draw at Anfield.
De Gea – 8 – Two outstanding saves after a mostly quiet game. Outstanding concentration.
Valencia – 7 – Sensational recovery tackle to deny Firmino; steady at both ends.
Bailly – 7 – Solid performance, considering it was his first exposure to this game.
Smalling – 7 – Imperious when dealing with headers, but careless with the direction of all of them.
WAYNE ROONEY TO EVERTON IS A JOKE.
Blind – 7 – Selected for his composure and was a calm head as United dominated the early stages.
Fellaini – 7- The kind of game a spoiler like the Belgian features in; did exactly as you’d expect.
*Herrera – 8 – The game’s best player. Combative, useful on the ball, and a dictator of the pace of the match.
Pogba – 5 – Wretched game from the world’s most expensive player.
Rashford – 6 – Provided decent width but struggled to make usual impact.
Ibrahimovic – 5 – Fluffed United’s best chance to win it. Contributed little.
Young – 6 – Surprise selection, but did all the necessary responsible grafting.
Subs : Rooney (Rashford), Shaw (Young)
Mourinho – 7 – Got the selection right; United dominated the first half and, if they were not so sloppy in possession, could have had a lead. When Liverpool’s expected wave of pressure came, the manager had selected a cool headed team to deal with it.
