When is Villa v United?

United will face Aston Villa on Sunday 6 November 2022.

What time does Villa v United kick off?

The match at Villa Park will start at 2pm.

Is Aston Villa v Manchester United on TV?

The game has not been selected for television coverage by Sky Sports or BT Sport.

The televised and re-arranged picks for November were announced by the Premier League on September 16.

Why isn’t Villa v United live on UK TV?

The game has only been moved because of United’s participation in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Three other games have already been moved to Sunday for television purposes; Chelsea v Arsenal, Southampton v Newcastle and Tottenham v Liverpool.

Aston Villa v Manchester United team news

Bruno Fernandes will be suspended for this game due to an accumulation of five Premier League yellow cards.

Jadon Sancho, Antony and Anthony Martial all missed the midweek win over Real Sociedad and Erik ten Hag told the club’s official website that he was still waiting to see if they would be fit to play at Villa Park.

Defenders Raphael Varane, Brandon Williams and Axel Tuanzebe will also be absent for this game.

Villa v United: Our prediction

This will be new Villa manager Unai Emery’s first game in charge and United will need to be wary of the new manager bounce.

Villa won their last home game 4-0, although they followed it up with a defeat by the same scoreline away at Newcastle last time out.

United are potentially short in wide areas, and another 1-0 away win like Thursday night’s would do the trick in what will not be an easy game.
