United fans have begun protesting outside Old Trafford already, as part of ongoing ill-feeling towards owners the Glazers.
Supporters are also being urged to leave the ground with 17 minutes remaining, by The 1958 group, and not many fans are expected to stay for the so-called ‘lap of honour’ at the final whistle, after the season we have just had.
United enter the match in sixth place, while newly promoted Brentford are safe in 14th.
The match away at Brentford ended 3-1 to United in January, with Anthony Elanga, Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford scoring, before a late consolation.
Brentford faced United at Old Trafford in a pre-season friendly last July, drawing 2-2, with Elanga and Andreas Pereira scoring the goals.
