Harry Amass makes Manchester United academy debut

The U18s won 4-1 against Reading yesterday, with Ethan Wheatley and a Gabriele Biancheri hat-trick giving the Red Devils all three points.

Biancheri, another new summer signing, was electric all game. He scored two poachers’ goals followed by a ridiculous solo run to give him the match ball.

Amass made his debut alongside Tyler Fletcher – who was also a summer acquisition this summer from Manchester City.

Amass took to social media following the fixture to send a message to his new club’s fans.

We hope he’s right!

‘First of many’, the caption reads.

We sincerely believe that Amass is right, and he does go on to have a fantastic career at this football club.

United have always been a side that believes in developing young talent. Amass will join the list of hopefuls that one day will be hoping to break through to the first team squad.

First of many for the academy and the initial step to a broader, hopefully successful career at Manchester United.
